Dad stares at mom with an angry glare
Turns around and walks up the stairs
Comes back down with a very big shout
Instantly I knew a fight would break out
Mother and Father started to fight
It was a very horrible sight
I ran away and started to cry
Why is this happening I’m only nine
Got in the middle and told them to stop
Pushed out the way, hit the table with a plop
Mom helped me up, asked if I was ok
I was so scared didn’t know what to say
Sister sitting in the corner scared
My sister and I were never prepared
For what just horribly occurred
My sister and I didn’t say a word
My dad grabbed the phone and called my brother
He said you need to talk to your mother
My brother asked my dad what happened
Stop fighting and put it to an end
My brother said to think about he kids
This is not the life they should live
A couple weeks later dad got kicked out
I already knew what it was about
He moved to 649 Littleton road
That night was a horrible show
Mom put a restraining order on dad
After she did that I was really mad
I will be 14 on my next birthday
I said a prayer to god to show me the way
Please god tell them it’s not ok
They should stop fighting every day
God tell them to think about the kids
But until then this is the life I live
