Divide me in two,
Discard the old,
Retain the new.
Unless the new
Shows black and blue,
Then trade the new
For the old, bold
And true.

This poem can apply to any kind of personal change, but I wrote it for my own struggle with depression, and trying to overcome it, piece by piece.
