Eyes shining so bright

Eyes shining so bright,
By the fire’s red glow.
Hidden secrets from the night.
No one will know.
Two people lying,
By the warm fire,
Each other, they’re eyeing.
Love’s fire burns higher.
The sun’s orange glow,
Rises on the horizon.
Water licks their toes,
Leaving behind the ocean’s cold diamonds.
Daybreak comes,
And they must depart.
But teenage love’s,
Left it’s mark on their hearts.
