Lost in a Daydream
I am lost in a daydream
Stuck in the subconscious
Unable to leave and incapable of thought
Trapped in a world of imagination
I am lost in a daydream
I have no outward sense
My body reacts to the unreal
I am half asleep
I am lost in a daydream
Partially aware of my surroundings
Powerful lights and sound rouse me
But the ordinary has no effect
I am lost in a daydream
My dreams can be realistic or a total fantasy
Include real and fake people alike
All appear the same but none are real
I am lost in a daydream
A mystical land of dreams
My dreams are generally pleasant, while some are depressing
Some you may not want to leave, but others you want out of quickly
I am lost in a daydream
Caught in a everlasting universe
No laws of nature apply
Yet some are believable
I am lost in a daydream
I will soon forget
Retention for all is impossible
Still a few linger forever
