A Life Lesson
Do you think it’s okay to laugh,
Do you think it’s okay to lie?
What if it’s laughing at someone?
What about a lie to help someone?
Do you think it would change anything?
The hope, the trust, the bonding
Maybe just a little
Do you think it’s okay to tease,
Do you think it’s okay to cheat?
How about cheating to help someone else?
How about teasing playfully?
Is that wrong?
Would it create harm,
Or a wall?
Do you think it’s okay to be vain,
Do you think it’s okay to be in agony?
What if you can’t help it?
What if that’s what it takes?
Life is full of what ifs
Life is full of mistakes
We breathe them
Feed on them
Learn from them
But what if..?
No
No more what ifs
Life is what it is
Just think
And make the best of it
