There's A Ringing in My Ears
There’s a ringing in my ears,
and it never goes away.
The chimes are oh so clear.
I can barely hear what my friends say.
I clench my head and scream
as the bells in my ears continue to ring.
As crazy as I may seem,
all of a sudden I hear no more dings.
All is silent in my mind.
When I realize that the ringing,
Of the bells in my head and inside my mind,
Were just the beat to which I was singing.
