What a beautiful melody you bring.
I climb aboard; you gently take my hand.
How the waltz on the train can make my heart sing

Softly, the captain blows the whistle to ring,
The take off jerky, we need try to stand.
What a beautiful melody you bring.

Speeds uncontrolled that the breaks fail and cling,
Barely recovered post-dual reprimand.
How the waltz on the train can make my heart sing.

Train sickness up heaves and causes a sting,
With a shocking jolt, the train halts unplanned.
What a beautiful melody you bring.

‘Top the caboose your blue eyes glistening;
Once again we dance to the grace of band.
How the waltz on the train can make my heart sing.

We’ll dance hand in hand forever a ring.
Together alone we will melt the Grand.
What a beautiful melody you bring.
Oh the waltz on the train does make my heart sing!

I love poetry because it can be interpreted differently for each person...interpret as you wish...

..but if you want to know my inspiration, this is a poem about a relationship that is worth fighting for; and how beautiful that struggle can be.
