Grandfather
The rain drizzles down on my window.
How was I to know?
Though he is 73,
He is still like a father to me.
From my younger days ,
I was raised,
By a man older yet stronger,
In more ways than I can currently be.
Wind’s start to blow,
And i start to cry,
How am I to hide,
the way I feel inside.
I can’t help these tears,
that Ive held in for so many years,
I knew for so long,
that this moment would come.
When I had to let my grandfather go.
