Inspired Words on Inspiration
How are we to be inspired?
Is it like breathing in,
Automatic but vital?
Is it like tuning a radio,
And finding a signal through the noise?
Is it like finding a light switch in the dark,
Blindly fumbling until we can see?
Perhaps we look too hard.
Perhaps we see the world through lenses too strong,
Which only blur the image and make us dizzy.
perhaps the small things,
A spring sunset,
The gentle tap of rain on a window,
The parting words said to friends,
Are the greatest sources of inspiration.
