Do my eyes deceive me?
Do my eyes deceive me?
Or am I blinded by your beauty?
Surely there is an angel before thee
Your presence has set my heart free
I’ve learned to love
And how to be a friend
I’m white as a dove
Your wounds I shall mend
A broken spirit
And a lost soul
Life torn apart
But again, you made me whole
Salvaged from the fire
I did arise
At the thought of looking into your eyes
A wreck, a destroyed man
But with these hands….
I’ll resurrect the promised land
