A Friend:

A friend is someone kind; a friend is someone true,
A friend may not always be loving, but is always there for you,
A friend is sometimes hurtful and will at times let you down,
But a friend is always there to pick you up off the ground,

A friend is good at forgiving; I know this to be true,
When the world seems utterly hopeless a friend comes shinning through,
A friend will make you laugh; a friend will make you cry,
A friend will never leave you when others pass you by.
A friend knows all your secrets and even knows your fears,
A friend will never judge you; even through the years,
A friend is more than family; a friend is more than luck,
For it’s a friend in whom we place our dreams when others say they suck.
