lost love, found friends
The pain, the hurt I feel around you
The love the peace that was once true
The lies, the torture you brought onto me
The memories, the dream that we wanted to be
The scene, the hatred that everyone saw
The happiness, the lust that is now gone
We was once a pair, now we’re separate
We was the couple that just connected
But what people saw
Wasn’t the same behind scenes
The fights, the battles that started
The water, the skin that was parted
The blood, the tears that was shed
The heart the feelings that was soon dead
The fear, the seclusion from when I stay
The reproach, the forage, for when I leave
When we was no more, there was freedom
We could no longer be, so I left and found someone new
You did the same with someone innocent and naïve
I found a greater friend that is higher than you
The attribute, the finesse the set me free
The gratitude, the depth you give me
The love, the forgiveness you show
The enthusiasm, the excellence that glows
The life, the expediency that you give
That admirably, the virtually of your name, God
