After the cold

The smell of sugary nectar fills the air.
As the beaming sun enlightens the day
And envelopes it in warmth.
The sound of the teal colored waves
Gracefully crashing into the sand
And then retracting.
I feel the warmth of the sand
Encase my feet.
As the air stands stagnant
Everything becomes lucid.
Summer has finally arrived.
