On Rememberance Day

Looking in the past
Even though we weren’t there
You can still feel the pain
The soldiers had to bear.
They died for our country
Our people and our right
They gave up their lives
Willing to fight
Today is the day
We honor them with pride
Proud of what they’ve done
There courage inside
So on Remembrance Day
Think of the soldiers and stand up straight
These are the people who fought
Not knowing their fate.
