Cosmic Radiance
I had that same dream again,
The one where we were stars.
The real kind, the cosimic radiance.
We were formed from gas, dust, and time.
We danced along the eerie silence,
The unexplored abyss.
But,
We could fly.
We were always shooting, granting wishes,
And eventually, we would
Fall,
Together, back onto Earth.
But I always wake up
Before we hit the ground.
And every time,
I wake up glowing
And there is glitter on my pillow.
I remember how you looked,
How we looked,
In the crowded sky.
You were my one in a million
And you were the brightest.
Please,
Don't ever fade.
