Aren't We All Just Poets?
What makes a poet a poet
And not a thoughtful teen?
Writing down every action,
Every thought and what we've seen
Don't we at some point
Just ponder for a while
What made us angry, made us cry
And what always made us smile?
Don't we write it somewhere
Not just on paper white?
And don't we argue with ourselves
On what is wrong and right?
And isn't that all a poet does?
With the world he shares his word?
So aren't we all a bunch of poets?
Shouldn't we all be heard?
