Fallen Star
What his finger touches
Turns to silvery dust
Star dust
It must be blessed by his soul
Kissed by his heart
His smile
Shoots across a sky of light
Causing fireworks of amazement in my eyes
To see his smile
Is to see a star wink straight at you
He stares into my eyes
His eyes
Reflection of the moon
Bright like a star
Twinkling at everything he sees
Finding me in my love for his eyes
Thinking about how perfect he is
A realist like me wonders
How me manages to be so perfect in an imperfect world
My mind can find no answer,
He must be a fallen star
That has come to make my wishes come true
A fallen star
Landing in my life
Blessed in the One who sent me
A fallen star today
