The Paradox
SHAZAM!
Magic explodes
From the soles of your feet
Out of your silvery eyes
A girl with wings
Golden shoes
And cotton candy lip gloss
Waves in your direction
DISSAPEAR!
From reality
Paradox your own existence
By believing that imaginative
Forces are more powerful than all
ABRACADABRA!
Teleported from extant truth
To an element of distraction
She looks through lenses
Thick as a brick wall
Pink as her nails
WELCOME!
To a state of beauty
Her problems are taken
By the door man
Opening to the new chapter
Of her life
DANCING!
With the sunflowers
Stuck in her windy black
Hair – fuzzy as an armadillo’s
Skin
Her blue dress flowing
Just as midnight does
And covers the night sky
Tonight
What a paradox
