Oh the Water
Oh the water so pure
Untouched, unharmed
The hues of blue
All blend together as one
As they crash on the shores
Why cannot I
Be the tiniest ripple
So all the world
Could see themselves in a new light
Why cannot I
Be the subtle gurgle
Of the water speaking to the trees
So all the world
Could be heard through me
Why cannot I
be as widespread as the waters
Felt by so many hands
So all the world
Could feel for each other
If only we were water.
