You Lied
You lied.
You lied when you said they liked me.
You lied when you said you liked me.
You lied when you said “Be right back.”
You lied when you said “Best friends.”
And now,
You can’t take it back.
I’m hurt,
I’m sad,
I’m gone.
You lied.
You said that it was you and me,
Until the very end.
So is this the very end?
You’re not with me,
And I sure as hell don’t want to be with you.
Because you lied.
You lied.
You lied when you said he loved me.
You lied when you said you loved me.
You lied when you said “Meant to be.”
You lied when you said “Me, and only me.”
And now,
I see through all of that.
I’m hurt,
I’m sad,
I’m gone.
You lied.
You always said you would never wrong me,
Never ever.
I guess you were wrong.
Because what you did,
Sure as hell wasn’t right.
Because you lied.
You lied.
I wish I could say “I forgive you.”
But all you can say is “I’m always there for you.”
Are you here now?
No.
Guess what?
You lied.
And I’m gone.
You lied.
