Clue
I slide
five spaces
toward the lounge,
creep
over to the trap
door,
and hesitate before
climbing in, careful
not to step on my
long red dress,
and wait.
Finally, enters
professor plum
followed by Mr. Green.
the revolver
shows through
the professor’s jacket.
When will he kill again?
I dare not move.
If I’m noticed, I
will loose.
Professor
plum draws his weapon.
Mr. Green
staggers backwards
and falls into the couch.
“I knew you killed
that innocent man!”
yelled Mr. Green.
I freeze.
What can I do?
I fly out
of the trap door.
“Caught you! I caught
you!” I scream.
The woman in red
has won again.
