Bright, brown eyes, deep like the sea
Will never cease to inspire me.
Voice like an angel, singing His praise,
Even though it was Him that took you away.
Smile for me, baby, one last time.
Give me a vision, show me a sign.
I need to know that you'll be okay.
I need to know why you couldn't stay.
A final goodbye is all that I need.
Just one more touch, then we'll both be free.
A daughter and sister, once upon a time,
Now confined to a space in the depths of my mind.
Forever a memory, may you never depart.
Forever thirteen, you live on in our hearts.
