Outside looking in
“Jess lets go!”
Up bright and early
At the doctors office with Aunt Tammy
Looking up and seeing the monitor
That’s my unborn cousin Angel
Wow that’s cool I think
Now I can’t wait
Waiting in anticipation for that “Jess let’s go!”
I hope it will be soon
Looking up and seeing that monitor again
Will it be a boy or girl?
Too early to know
I know that I’ll be an aunt
That’s good enough for now
But still, boy or girl?!
