A Dream
She wanted it more than anything.
Nothing could slow her down.
Slight mistakes wouldn’t even sting.
And in the end she’d be wearing the crown.
Full of emotion, wonder, and magic.
Of hope, creativity, and life.
She knew this could never be tragic.
It wouldn’t end in sorrow or strife.
The dream that she had was colossal.
Some people thought it was extreme.
Through barriers she would have to jostle.
But if not, would it still be a dream?
