arrive at the field an hour early
game day has come in a hurry
the sky is clear and the field is green
i get ready for the game with my family,my team

We circle up to converse and pray
victory is imminent, not far away
getting in line like soldiers at battle
steadily we walk up to the Roc
this team here today will not be forgot

on the pitch the whistle blows,
players are to get the ball
i swiftly step in to steal it all
with the ball at my feet
i surely cant be beat

dribbling down the field and pulling sicks moves
driving to the goal im sure not to lose
just the goalie and i, one on one
i strike the bell, its the one

sailing upper ninety toward the net
the goalie dives but its a ball he cant get
the crowd begins to rise the they start to cheer
were up 1-0 in the first game of the year

the game is over, game number one
tonight we go out to party, lets have some fun
