When I Look At Him
When I look at him,
It reminds me of you.
It hurts so much,
I don't know what to do.
I smile to hide it,
The pain in my heart.
But I couldn't give up,
I've had a brand new start.
He does things,
That show who he is.
He does things,
But I'm not ready for this.
His smile is comforting,
And so is yours
Why can't I go back to you,
Like I did before?
When I look at him,
I can see he is happy.
Can't he see,
My misery underneath?
He is just like you,
A sweet, caring guy.
Can't I look at him,
And just say goodbye?
