As white as fresh snow
but you have to look quick,
because he immediately rolls
when his halter is un-clicked.
He is obnoxious yet sweet
with those innocent eyes,
but his pawing could make a sane person
think of suicide.
He is too sophisticated for coastal grass
and needs special feed,
we buy it from afar
and watch the bank account recede.
He’s a bit of a handful
my horse Oli,
but he is who he is
and that makes me jolly.
