Ocean
Frothy waves hug the shore
The sent of salt wafting through the air
Blue stretches out forever more
Seagulls float without a care
Dolphins wink as they dance through the waves
Children laughing at the sight
Wishing these were endless days
Begging the parents with all their might
To stay until the summers done
Shells litter the beach like oceans jewels
And people think its so much fun
To pick ’em up and carry them like pack mules
Old piers begin to creak
Crying for their age
While little children begin to shriek
Because they’re leaving, they are raged
