Dark Night
The sun sets on an evening day
The clouds roll by in the sky
My little sister wants to play
But it’s too dark I sigh
Night breaks as a sight wind blows in
It gets cold in this winter time
I come inside because he wind started to win
My mom asks,” Are you feeling fine?”
I grab my hot chocolate and sit in the chair
I looked toward the window and peeked
I saw a dark figure like a bear
To my relief it was just a bush I shrieked
I crawl into bed and set my alarm
Then I turn the lights out
When I sleep I count sheep on a farm
Without even a fuss or pout
