The Willow Tree
The willow tree is
So many different colors,
But people are only one.
When you look or see
A willow tree, people
Think of it being just a willow tree.
But when you look at people
They see us as blacks, whites,
Hispanics and others.
We aren’t seen as normal people
We are seen as what the color
Of our skin may be.
If we are all the same,
The why does color matter?
Everyone is the same
In God’s point of view,
Why don’t we all
See that?
The willow tree is colorful
So why can’t we all be seen
As colorful people.
