I See You
I see you, my love, but why are you sad?
Your eyes show your pain, you fake a smile you once had.
That figure that stands by your side, is not a man.
But a hypocrite, you fear the palm of his hand.
Your scared he will leave, you fear poverty,
but you could of made it all better if you were with me.
But I know that won't happen, for I am a shadow.
And as I watch you, my love, my heart grows more shallow.
