When Will You See Me Through
When will you see me through?
What do I have to do?
Do I have to put a red light on my head,
And run around screaming,
waking the dead?
When will you see me through?
See that when I give you a faint smile as you talk to me,
I don't want this little small talk
I want a conversation
Where I can be myself,
Where you can see me through,
And I don't have to hide anything,
I can tell you endless thoughts,
I'm not asking for a big relationship,
Just a shoulder to cry on
A friend I can talk about problems to
Who will always lend a hand
When will you see me through?
I'm not just pure silence...
There's life behind the stone
