I want to be a doctor
When I grow up I want to be a doctor!
And why’s that, Jimmy?
Because when I fell down and scraped my knee,
the doctor was there along with Nurse Dee.
But, the doctor was the one who helped me be brave.
He’s the one who fixed my knee.
When I am old I want to make a difference,
just like the doctor once did for me.
I want to be sweet, kind, and loving,
the kind of man children are wanting.
Today I am a pediatrician,
just like I always wanted to be!
I have fixed so many aches and pains.
Joy comes to me every passing day,
because I know I made a difference to many children today.
