When We Were Young
I remember those days as a child,
When everything was care free.
Just be who you are,
Didn’t care what anyone thought of you.
When everything was care free
We lived life to the fullest.
Didn’t care what anyone thought of you.
Because we didn’t care about what other people looked like,
We lived life to the fullest.
We were innocent.
Because we didn’t care about what other people looked like,
We made friends faster than we could say ‘hi.’
We were innocent.
Outgoing, looked up to everybody.
We made friends faster than we could say ‘hi.’
We played together like there was no tomorrow.
Outgoing, looked up to everybody.
But people change.
We played together like there was no tomorrow.
Now, we don’t.
But people change.
Nothing is like it was.
Now, we don’t.
We have reputations and care too about much how people portray us.
Nothing is like it was.
I remember those days as a child.
We have reputations and care too much about how people portray us.
Just be who you are.
