Pieces of ourselves
We all start out whole.
Knowing ourselves and who we want to be.
No filtered happiness, the real thing.
But soon we all find someone.
The so called "love" is cherished. It's bright new sun is all we can see.
But eventually the light goes out.
Only darkness is seen.
Blinded.
your other half gone.
The raw pieces where they were feel like a flame against your skin.
You find yourself hoping for another half to come along.
to fix you when your broken.
you were once whole.
But no one wishes they were never there.
That there was never anyone to ache over.
Is it really worth it?
to lose a missing piece of ourselves forever?
