Snow Days
Setting my alarm for no reason.
Staying in bed ‘til the afternoon.
Snow during the winter season.
Hoping the day will not end soon.
Sleigh riding down the steep hill.
Building big, fat, fluffy snowmen.
Going really fast with much thrill.
Traveling downhill again and again.
Mouth-watering hot chocolate in a mug.
Having exciting snowball fights.
Cuddling near the fire, very comfy.
The world seems beautiful and white.
No homework or studying to do.
Happy to spend the day off and relax.
Fantasizing to have another one or two.
School’s tomorrow: must face the facts.
