We'll Make it Through
The times are harsh now
and can drain your life away.
But look into the sky now
And see the dawn of a new day.
You've been through so much:
Like a wilting flower they belittle.
You've lost your sweet touch
But you are more than far from brittle.
I know all about your past,
Your grey uncertain heart
I know we can last
To end this war that’s torn us apart
I've seen miracles of you
Watched you pick up our frayed strands
And now we've started something new
With fate's eternally careful hands.
The times are harsh now
but in them find this true;
Just look into my eyes now
And know we'll make it through.
