Heart's Delight
Love you are my hearts delight
I yearn for you every night
And in the time I've spent alone
My love for you I've always known
The Passion burns in my eyes
A look from you and my spirits rise
This flame inside that burns so bright
From my soul, this light takes flight
Lately this rain seems less dreary
Because of this, my hearts less weary
And if in fact we're meant to be
The sky will clear so I may see
A future bright and filled with love
That sent the rain from heaven above
To wash away these painful tears
And release my heart of once felt fears
As it beats and spins in tune with yours
Twirling and dancing through open doors
A cycle of love with a touch of fate
Our worlds entwined, you as my mate
Man can’t recall such a bond like ours
You’re sent from heaven beyond the stars
Through my worries, I mean no pain
You are all that I wish to gain
