"Yeah, I'm the one with my feet on the ground. But I've got long legs and I have to bend my knees to keep my head out of the clouds."

I hope that you'll forget me not
In those months when I've come to pass
I hope you'll not forget the snows
Which melt to grow your sweet spring grass

I know I linger in your mind
As my chill lingers in the air
I know the sun unfurls her rays
To vanquish what I once made there.

I hear the sounds of meadow larks
Returned to homes my snowfalls took
I hear the rush of waters fast
My ice melted from ev'ry brook.

I guess your lives move on ahead
To tow'ring clouds and weather fine
I guess you all forgot the days
When for my great white coat you pined.

I find that you push me away
Grow flowers where I once grew flakes
I find that time still rolls along
To melt my heart before it breaks.

I hope that time begins to mend
And in your hearts I'll hold a spot
I hope smiles wait for my return
I hope that you forget me not.
