Stuck On Pause
You are changing, changing.
You feel restless; your world is in slow motion.
You are bored and restrained.
You are waiting, you are praying, for change.
You are deep orange,
the color of a sunrise.
You are just a small dot compared to the amazing world around you
and are itching to see each sunset for the first time.
You look at the world with different eyes as you watch through the bars of your suburban cell, you try to struggle free, to glimpse the light.
It is torturous to move like this
so slow, like your life is on pause.
