Friendship is a gift
Of someone being there
Not because they have to
But because they care
They are there to comfort
Or to talk
Or just sit in silence
Or go for a walk
Family is supposed to be depended on
Friends choose to be
Family can lock you up
While friends set you free
Love your family
But trust friends
Be who you are
Because friends are there through all ends
