The storm
Thunder rumbles through the sky
I just want to run and hide
The rain falls upon my face
I feel as though I’ve been disgraced
 Lightning strikes the ground below
 It creates and unearthly glow
The world around me is dark and grey
There is no time to laugh and play
The clouds are rolling over head
I can’t move, my feet feel like lead
I’m in the middle of this storm
Everything around me seems so slow
I’m unchanging, as everything around me is dead
I see the world destroyed and reborn
