Love
I refuse to wash away the taste
In my nose, I deeply store the smell.
Oh! will I let such a dish go to waste
Nevermore! I will cherish it, I'd never tell.
My lady, your love is felt through every bite.
As my taste buds taste your love,
my tongue goes numb, as I feel through sight.
I see love in the air, as hearts hover above.
Here below I see my heart lie upon a plate.
Am I exaggerating or going insane?
Has anyone ever felt this way?
Just wait, one day the sun will kiss your windowpane and hearts will replace the stars in your night sky, be courteous to love, it shall never be ignored.
