After you become rainbow
When you fade to gray
All the colors
In black and white
The silver skies don't shine so bright.

After the rain falls
All the pain
Gets washed away
And you hear a call that leads you astray.

Searching will only lead to more
Or you will get lost
Along the way
And can be a colorful rainbow for one more day.

I wrote this poem after listening to a song that reminded me that every day is a chance to start over.
