Never to Return
I have showered, I have shaved, because I have a date

and now its time for me to leave, because i can't be late

its not to far, but i must leave, i want to be there early

the more time i will spend out there, the more i get to see

the hill side where I'm sitting, it is the perfect view

and the setting sun, its golden light, it sure looks good on you

when the sun is sitting on the trees, and darkness starts to rise

your fingers intertwine with mine, it takes my by surprise

your eyes meet mine, the whole world stops and everything is still

the wind has died, the sun is gone, there's darkness on the hill

there's something in your warming touch, a secret i must learn

but the moments slowly fading, and it never will return
