Money is Evil
Money is a spoiler,
He tricks us into sorrow,
He can ruin our lives at any time,
Whether it’s now, tonight or tomorrow.
Money is the source of all evil,
But we use him, nearly every day,
Money has a mind of his own,
And will do anything to get his way.
Money, he has many disguises,
Silver, paper and copper,
Already he’s tricked our minds,
From the helpless beggar to the ultimate shopper!
Money – still at large,
Sometimes, he wears a big head and a tail,
He’s as sly as a fox,
Yet as persistent as a snail.
Money is no winner,
For making believe,
That he is an innocent saint,
For he lies, fools and deceives.
So next time you’re out spending,
Remember, money picks,
Who becomes a victim,
Of his vicious tricks!
