Myopia: Distant Objects Blur
Flopping down into a green luscious sea
Silky strands of hair frame my serene face
Coral blossoms whir from a sakura tree
Cradled by gentle breeze, lost in a sky race
Opaque monarch wings shower orange crystals
Glowing, shining, in the cobalt background
Rapid waterfalls, roaring like pistols
Katydids skitter, waltzing all around
Milky clouds form a fantastic shape
A gleaming fairy, blazing dragon, dancing bear
They have no cage, no steal bars to escape
Me, trapped in reality’s barbwire snare
I wish to float in that utopia
Nature blurs, fades, is this myopia?
