my love compared to the world
It's been a year now right
and i wonder why my life seems so tight
tightly in the cracks of the land that the people wonder over.
as the red stop sign seems to get older.
that no city man maketh brand new.
No more trying to keep it fresh
my love for you has been put to rest.
late nights up like a wolf howling;
till the moon gets full of grey
as the television gets color more everyday.
it's like i've gone as a blind man could
without no one to lead me
im on my own now till the gravity pulls me back to the concrete ground
