Waves of blue
thrashing about
in wordless cries...

Trying to get to shore
but never reaching it
staying in the everlasting
expanse of blue...

Will they be able to get out--
a small instance
when they make it up
and realize
everything they wanted
is destroyed...

What happened to the
beautiful shore--
they recede and go back
only to want and
play more...

They don't realize--
it was their doing,
they destroyed the shore
when all they wanted
was to play,
instead all
was broken...

Can those waves of blue
ever get along--
or will they be kept
forever at a distance...

The shore may come to them,
but they can never
go to the shore...
