The sky’s crystal eye
Walking along the trail in the Dead of night
A man needs a place to contemplate his life
Sitting on a park bench he stops to look around
Knowing that nature keeps moving on
Silver beams engulf a tree
Expose a field mouse
Who scurried in the Darkness
To the eyes of a hungry owl
The soft, gentle glow shatters the calmness of a pond
As the Coy fish pop out to receive the Light
Staring wide-eyed at the radiance
Of the illuminating object above
Luna casts the sphere on high
Lighting up the night sky
The man seeks hope from the orb
Welcoming the Brightness of the Moon
